This black and white photograph is of some old decrepit stone steps at Pompeii Italy. I shot it with my Hasselblad 500cm with a 80mm F2.8 lens using Kodak Tri-X 400 film processed in Diafine.

A couple years ago I went to the Fort Duchesne Pow wow with my wife and good friend Tavis Johnson. I brought with me my Hasselblad 500 CM, 80mm 2.8 lens and some Kodak Tri-X 400. I was eager to make a few black and white portraits. I've always had a great respect for the culture and honestly have been a little jealous of the sense of brotherhood they have. Some of them were kind enough to let me photograph them in their traditional dance attire. Very impressive. Here are a few.
